NCCC splits at Muskegon CC Duals
Niagara County Community College made the long trek to Muskegon Community College and split a pair of matches at the host Jayhawks' annual Duals on Friday night. The Thunderwolves are 1-1 in dual meets on the young season.
Muskegon CC 26, Niagara CCC 25
Sophomore C.J. Walz (133) and freshmen Katrell Jackson (149) and Anthony Bell (157) earned pinfall victories in the setback. Sophomore Freddy Eckles (141) won via major decision. NCCC lost 12 points by forfeit to the hosts.
Niagara CCC 33, Joliet JC 18
Eckles (141), Jackson (149) and fellow freshmen Greg Quinn (125) and Russell March (197) picked up pins for the T-Wolves. Walz won by technical fall and Bell was a winner by major decision.
