Niagara County Community College allowed four goals in each half on its way to a tough 8-0 loss to visiting Finger Lakes CC in Region III action Wednesday afternoon. The Thunderwolves fall to 1-13 overall and 1-10 in regional play.
NCCC was out-shot 26-3 with sophomore forward Alexa Caputo registering all three shots on goal. Classmate Courtney Kaczor made 18 saves in net.
The Thunderwolves have just two games remaining in their regular season. First up is a home contest against Corning CC at 3 p.m. Wednesday.
