Niagara County Community College's losing skid hit 11 games after a pair of road defeats this past weekend. The Thunderwolves are now 1-12 on the season with three games remaining. Next up is a home contest against Finger Lakes CC at 3 p.m. Wednesday.

Mercyhurst North East 3, Niagara CCC 1

Sophomore Alexa Caputo scored her team-best 10th goal of the year to get the Thunderwolves on the board in the 83rd minute. Classmate Courtney Kaczor made 11 saves in net.

Erie CC 8, Niagara CCC 1

Caputo again netted the team's lone goal, this time off a free kick in the final minute of regulation. Kaczor finished with 20 saves in over 70 minutes between the pipes.
