Niagara County Community College could not find the back of the net en route to a 5-0 Region III setback on Saturday at SUNY Adirondack. The Thunderwolves fell to 1-6 on the season.
NCCC, which was two players down for most of the contest, could not get anything past SUNY Adirondack goalkeeper Kaylee Coon (18 saves). Teammate Kayla Bizon, meanwhile, netted a hat trick for the host Timberwolves. NCCC freshman goalkeeper Halie Hambruch was credited with eight stops in defeat.
Next up for the Thunderwolves is a regional road clash at Onondaga CC. Kickoff is set for 3 p.m. Saturday.
