Niagara County Community College couldn't break through on the score sheet during a 12-0 setback to host Erie Community College in Region III action Wednesday. The Kats - ranked No. 1 in the latest NJCAA Div. III poll - remained unbeaten in regional play, while the Thunderwolves fell to 1-5.
Erie CC was led by returning NJCAA Div. III All-American Abbey Lombard, who netted four goals. The Kats held a 25-3 advantage in shots. NCCC goalkeeper Halie Hambruch made four saves in the loss.
Next up for the T-Wolves is a road trip to SUNY Adirondack. Kickoff is at Noon Saturday.
