Niagara County Community College mustered 29 shots, but only found the back of the net once in an 8-1 Region III setback at Finger Lakes Community College on Wednesday afternoon. The Thunderwolves fell to 1-8 on the season.
NCCC freshman midfielder Alexis Fyock scored for the second consecutive game. The tally was assisted by sophomore forward Alexis Lilly. Jessica Williams and Colby Kutzer each netted a hat trick for the Lakers, who scored the first eight goals of the game.
Next up for the T-Wolves is a home date with NJCAA Div. I and Western New York Athletic Conference foe Mercyhurst North East. The match is set to begin at 1 p.m. Saturday.
