Niagara County Community College had leads in both games, but still dropped two Region III home tilts this past weekend. The Thunderwolves fell to 1-11-1 on the year with Jamestown CC coming to Sanborn for the season finale at 2 p.m. Wednesday.

The T-Wolves built up a 4-0 lead only to see it evaporate over the final 30 minutes of the game. Freshman leading scorer Alexis Fyock netted two goals with sophomore Cristina Catalano and classmate Marguerite Loughrey adding one apiece. Freshman Olivia Hecei had two assists for NCCC, which held a 25-8 edge in shots on goal.

Hecei pounded home a feed from Fyock for the game's first goal less than three minutes in. Unfortunately, the Thunderwolves would muster just one more shot on goal the rest of the way as they lost to the nationally-ranked Kats for the second time this season.
