Thunderwolves shut out by SUNY Broome

Visiting SUNY Niagara fell behind in the third minute and could not recover as it lost a 3-0 decision to Region III foe SUNY Broome on Thursday afternoon. The Thunderwolves fell to 2-5-0 overall and 2-4-0 in regional action.

Freshman Natalie Hoffman and sophomore Rylee VanNostrand recorded the lone SUNY Niagara shots-on-goal. Freshman goalkeeper Alexandria Szratter was credited with five saves in the loss.

The Wolfpack returns home at 4 p.m. Wed. Oct. 9 for a Region III matchup vs. Jamestown Community College.
