Niagara County Community College went 2-1 at this past weekend's Region III pod hosted by Erie Community College. The Thunderwolves are now 3-4 on the season with their home opener against Mercyhurst North East slated for 6 p.m. Tuesday.

Freshman Jenna Faulkner had six kills and classmate Leanne Lettow added 13 assists in the sweep. The T-Wolves registered a season-high 25 aces in the win.

Faulkner notched 23 kills en route to an eye-popping .415 hitting percentage in the five-game setback. Freshman Lauren Wills added 10 klills and Lettow had 45 assists.

Faulkner ripped nine kills, while Wills and first-year middle Emma Okoniewski each finished with eight kills in the sweep. Lettow racked up 23 assists.
