Niagara County Community College was swept in three games by host Monroe Community College on Tuesday night. The scores were: 25-16, 25-21 and 25-23 in favor of the Tribunes. The Thunderwolves drop 4-8 overall and 4-7 against Region III Div. III opponents.
In the loss, freshmen Lauren Wills and Emma Okoniewski combined for 17 kills. Classmate Leanne Lettow added 21 assists and sophomore Rachel Buzzard recorded seven digs.
Next up for NCCC is a series of home pod matches, which are slated to begin at 9 a.m. Saturday. Opponents include: SUNY Broome, Tompkins-Cortland CC and Corning CC.
