Niagara County Community College was swept in three games by visiting Mercyhurst North East in a Western New York Athletic Conference matchup on Tuesday night. Games scores were 25-17, 25-22, 25-18 in favor of the Saints. The Thunderwolves fell to 3-5 overall.
Freshman Jenna Faulkner notched eight kills, classmate Leanne Lettow had 17 assists and first-year standout Lauren Wills finished with nine digs.
Next up for NCCC is a trio of Region III pod matches slated to begin at 9 a.m. Saturday at Jamestown CC. Opponents include Finger Lakes CC, Genesee CC and Monroe CC.
