Host Niagara County Community College came away with one win at this past weekend's Region III pod matches. The Thunderwolves are now 5-10 overall and 5-9 in regional play. Next up is a home WNYAC contest with rival Erie CC. First serve is set for 6 p.m. Thursday.

SUNY Broome 25-25-25, Niagara CCC 10-12-12

Freshman Lauren Wills had six kills and classmate Leanne Lettow added 15 assists in the three-set loss.

Niagara CCC 25-25-25, Tompkins-Cortland CC 12-20-23

Wills led the way with 12 kills, while first-year standouts Jenna Faulkner and Natalee Jonathan notched 11 kills apiece in the sweep. Lettow had 37 assists and freshman Deja Wroten finished with a career-high five kills.

Corning CC 27-25-25, Niagara CCC 25-17-13

Faulkner and Jonathan teamed up for 15 kills, while Lettow had 23 assists and sophomore Kelsi Palistrant chipped in with 13 digs.
