Niagara County Community College saw it's season come to an end at this past weekend's Western New York Athletic Conference Tournament hosted by Erie CC. The Thunderwolves finished the year 7-15 overall. Top-seeded Jamestown CC beat Mercyhurst North East in the finals.
Monroe CC 23-25-15, Niagara CCC 25-6-11
Freshmen Emma Okoniewski and Jenna Faulkner combined for 15 kills, but it wasn't enough in the three-set loss. Classmate Leanne Lettow added 15 assists and seven digs, while sophomore Kelsi Palistrant finished with 13 digs.
Jamestown CC 25-25, Niagara CCC 11-14
Okoniewski again led the offense with seven kills, while Lettow recorded 13 assists and freshman Lauren Wills added four kills and six digs.
