NCCC drops three matches at Erie pod

Niagara County Community College is still in search of its first win after dropping three Region III matches at Erie Community College on Saturday. NCCC is now 0-4 and does not play again until Sept. 16 when it travels to Hudson Valley CC for three more regional pod matches. 

Mohawk Valley CC 25-24-25-25, Niagara CCC 18-26-16-11

Despite 10 kills each from freshmen Braillen Hare and Madison Phillips, the Thunderwolves fell in four sets. Sophomore Lauren Wills notched 23 assists and freshman Madison Finn added 11 digs.

Herkimer College 25-26-25-25, Niagara CCC 19-28-14-18

Hare had 10 kills and 10 digs in another tight four-set loss. Wills again recorded 23 assists, while Phillips ripped 10 kills and Finn finished with 14 digs. Classmate Shannon Holt chipped in with six kills and 10 digs.

Fulton-Montgomery CC 25-25-25, Niagara CCC 17-21-17

Wills picked up 18 assists in the straight-set defeat. Hare had five kills and eight digs and Finn added 10 digs.
