Niagara County Community College lost three Region III matches as the host school of pod action this past weekend. The Thunderwolves are now 2-18 on the season with only the Western New York Athletic Conference tournament left on the schedule. It is set for 9 a.m. Saturday at Genesee Community College.
Jefferson CC 26-25-25, Niagara CCC 24-14-17
Freshmen Shannon Holt and Caitlyn Vishion had seven kills apiece in the three-game loss. Sophomore Lauren Wills notched 22 assists.
Onondaga CC 25-25-25, Niagara CCC 21-14-10
Freshman Madison Phillips had a team-high nine kills in the straight-set loss. Wills had 14 assists and freshman Braillen Hare added four digs.

Holt ripped a career-high 15 kills in the heartbreaking five-set setback. Vishion added 13 kills and Phillips had 13 kills and three aces. Wills recorded a season-high 40 assists and freshman Madison Finn finished with 12 digs.
