Niagara County Community College's season came to a close at this past Saturday's Western New York Athletic Conference Tournament hosted by Jamestown Community College. The Thunderwolves dropped pool play matches to Genesee Community College and Mercyhurst North East to finish their season with an overall record of 4-18. Top-seeded Jamestown CC won the tournament.
Genesee CC 25-25, Niagara CCC 16-15
Sophomore Maddy Finn had 10 digs and two service aces in the defeat. Freshman McKenna Collignon added nine assists and four digs and classmate Jessi Wood ripped four kills.
Mercyhurst NE 25-25, Niagara CCC 17-12
Collignon finished with 13 assists, five digs and two service aces in the setback. Finn led the defense with 10 digs and sophomore Christine Domon had a team-best three kills.
