Niagara County Community College lost three straight sets to host Mercyhurst North East in Region III Western New York Athletic Conference play on Tuesday night. The scores were: 25-17, 25-19, 25-20. NCCC falls to 3-7 overall and 0-4 in conference play.
Sophomore McKenna Collignon continued her strong season, finishing with 13 assists and 12 digs. Freshman Samantha Chilcott added 14 digs and sophomore Jessica Cruz-Jackson had a team-high seven kills.
Next up for the Thunderwolves is regional pod action at Finger Lakes Community College. Action begins at 9 a.m. Saturday. Opponents include the host Lakers along with conference foes Monroe Community College and Genesee Community College.
