Niagara County Community College wrapped up its season with a 3-0 loss to host Jamestown Community College in the semifinals of the annual Western New York Athletic Conference Tournament on Saturday afternoon. The scores were 25-23, 25-13 and 25-12 in favor the Jayhawks, who lost to Erie Community College in the championship match. The Thunderwolves, meanwhile, finished their season with a 2-17 overall record.
NCCC freshman Juliana Levesque led the way with eight kills. Classmates Lilah Frerichs and Ashanti Thomas added four kills apiece, while first-year setter Maggie Monachino finished with 20 assists and three service aces.
