Town of Niagara native Amanda Haseley was named Director of Athletics at Niagara County Community College on Sept. 1, 2018. Haseley oversees 10 intercollegiate athletic programs, club sports, the Esports gaming lab, intramural and recreation programming and all facilities within the athletics.

Since becoming the Director of Athletics, Haseley has been involved at the regional level, chairing several Region III sport committees and serving as Secretary for the Western New York Athletic Conference. Most recently, Haseley has been added to a pair of national committees - NJCAA Div. III Women’s Volleyball and NJCAA Sport Governance.

During her tenure, Haseley has seen several NCCC teams and individuals achieve success on and off the field of play, including two national champions, 19 regional champions, 38 All-Americans and dozens of National Tournament appearances.

"Working in athletics with these talented student-athletes is exciting," Haseley said. "I love the competitive atmosphere, but more importantly I love the family culture we have created here in the athletic department. Of course, none of that would be possible without our dedicated coaching and support staff. They make coming to work every day enjoyable.”

Before assuming her current role, Haseley served NCCC in a multitude of capacities including Spirit Faculty Advisor, Camp NCCC Director, Sports Information Director and Athletic Business Manager. She also has over 15 years of experience working with the Town of Niagara Recreation Department.

Haseley graduated from Niagara University with a bachelor’s degree in English and a minor in communication studies and earned a master’s degree in sport administration from Canisius College. The Town of Niagara resident and her husband David have two sons, Chase and Jack.
