Generals down Timberwolves and Thunderwolves to improve to 18-2

Herkimer NY- The Herkimer Generals traveled to SUNY Adirondack on Wednesday (2/9) and returned home Thursday (2/10) to take on Division-II Niagara CC. 

The Generals jumped out ahead of Adirondack in the first half 33-29 in the first half, and expanded to there lead in the second half to down the Timberwolves 76-66. The Generals were led by Shykell Brown(Rochester, NY) who scored 24 points on the night while adding 5 rebounds, 4 assists and 3 steals. D'Ante Quinlan(Yonkers, NY) turned in a double-double, scoring 15 points while pulling down 13 rebounds. 

Herkimer controlled the game from the tip, and kept the lead all 40 minutes. The Generals turned in there best defensive performance of the season, only allowing the Thunderwolves to score 54 points on the night while the Generals scored 64. 

Herkimer were led by Chris Volo(Westbury, NY) and D'Ante Quinlan (Yonkers, NY) who both had double-doubles on the night. Volo had 12 points, 11 rebounds and 1 block on the night. Quinlan had 11 points, 12 rebounds and a steal to led the Generals. 

Herkimer improves to 18-2 on the season and returns to action Monday (2/14) when they travel to take on Cayuga CC for a 7 P.M tip-off.
