SANBORN, N.Y. - The Finger Lakes Community College men's basketball team saw their 3-game win streak snap Thursday night against the Division II Niagara County Community College Thunderwolves. The game marked the team's first matchup of the season and the Thunderwolves would walk away with a 107-64 win. Sophomore Slayde Huntley (Herrin, IL./Herrin) emerged as the top scorer for the Lakers, delivering an impressive 6-for-9 shooting, including 4 three-pointers on 5 attempts. His contributions from beyond the arc were key to the Lakers' offense. Huntley would also grab 5 rebounds in the process. Freshman James Reaves Jr. (Rochester, N.Y./Greece Athena) enjoyed a career night for the Lakers, contributing 14 points and pulling in 5 rebounds. Reaves would make the most of his opportunities as he made 6 of his 10 shots.
