RCGC Baseball Finishes Florida Trip With 9-1 Record, Eyes Home Clash vs. Camden CC This Sunday

The RCGC Baseball team returns to South Jersey this Sunday, March 18, with a doubleheader at home against Camden County College. The first pitch for Game 1 is scheduled for 12 noon.

Coach Rob Valli's Roadrunners, No. 3 in the NJCAA D-III National Rankings, return home with a 9-1 overall record, including an 8-1 mark on their just-completed Florida road trip in Orlando.

In their last three games, the Runners cruised to victories over Niagra County College, 16-0, on March 14; Prince George County, 18-8, also on March 14; and Century College, 18-2, on March 15.

Slugger Jack Gattinelli (Washington Township) belted a grand slam home run while teammates Neify Mercedes (Connecticut) and Anthony Angelino (Deptford) also socked roundtrippers to lead the win over Century College on Thursday. Freshman Jose Ledesma  (Passaic) was the winning pitcher.

In the win over Prince George's CC, sophomore catcher Jack Goan collected five hits and 6 RBIs to spark the easy triumph.
