Hawks Lose Two In a Row At Home

The Hawks came up short at home, 64-75, against the Niagara County Community College Thunderwolves on Sunday January 16th.  Kristoff Hayden #10 (Oklahoma City, OK) led the team with 18 points, followed by Josiah Gregg #21 (Fort Washington,MD) with 13 points and 8 rebounds.  Ryan Snyder#5 (Smithsburg,MD), Brye Hopkins#24 (Bel Air,MD), Alex Ofori#25 (Hagerstown,MD), Folayemi Salko#11 (Rosedale,MD), Travis Smoot#23 (Pasedena,MD) and Trey McCarty#32 (Smithsburg,MD) also contributed points in this game.  The Hagerstown made 94% of their free throws while Niagara only shot 58%. 

HCC moved on to face Harford Community College at home Wednesday January 19th. After leading 45-44 at half Harford came back to win 105-98. Brye Hopkins#24 (Bel Air,MD) led the team with a career high 21 points followed by James Cottrell#44 (Philidelphia,PA) with 16 points.  Alex Ofori#25 (Hagerstown,MD) and Trey McCarty#32 (Smithsburg,MD) each added 11 points.  Ryan Snyder#5 (Smithsburg,MD), Kyree Ellis#12 (Joppatowne,MD), and Josiah Gregg#21 (Fort Washington,MD) also contributed for the Hawks. 

Hagerstown falls to 4-12, overall, as they are back in action at home on Monday, January 24th, vs Montgomery Community College.
