The Lady Cannoneers traveled on a rainy day to Fulton-Montgomery CC and the rain didn't stop them from firing off the Cannons with a sweep of Erie CC 3-0 (25-17, 25-18, and 25-17) and SUNY Niagara 3-0 (25-12, 25-21, and 25-16). Everyone got to see the court, and all did amazing and while not on the court the lady cannoneers were loud the whole day! Abby Raven had a phenomenal day providing the team with 22 kills, 3 blocks, 3 service aces, and 7 digs. Noelle Redeye provided a stellar performance with 9 kills, 4 Blocks, and 1 dig. Madison Bigelow was determined to keep team strong and provided 4 kills, 3 service aces (Serving 100%), and 10 digs. Our two outstanding setters had amazing matches with Veda Howell providing 27 assists, 7 service aces, 13 digs, and 2 kills, and Madallyn Moore with 19 assists, 5 service aces, 3 kills, and 7 digs. Makayla Rocha had a solid defensive game as our libero with 15 digs and 2 service aces (Serving 100%). Freshman Keira Guerriero had a great day with 6 kills, 1 block, and 6 digs. Freshman Ryleigh Fleming had a great day providing 12 digs, 4 service aces, and 1 kill. The whole roster chipped in and provided the Lady Cannoneers with two solid victories to start our 2024 season.
The Lady Cannoneers are back in action Tuesday 9/10 away vs Onondaga Community College at 6pm.
