Jefferson Loses Tough One at Home

The Cannoneers played some of their best and spirited soccer of the season on Saturday, only to fall to Niagara CCC Wolves by the score of 4-2.  The Cannoneers would give up an early goal 15 minutes into the game and trail 1-0 at halftime.  The second half would be some of the best soccer the Cannoneers have played all year as they took it to the Wolves for the first 30 minutes, the relentless pressure paid off as Tanner Jones scored with 13 minutes left in the match to make it 2-1.  3 minutes later the Wolves would score on the counter-attack to make it 3-1 with 10 minutes to go.  The Cannoneers would not give and kept pressuring the Wolves goalie , as he made several outstanding saves.  With 56 seconds left in the game, Nolan Parow would hit a brilliant strike to cut the lead to 3-2.  The Wolves would score on the ensuing kickoff to make the final score 4-2.
