Traveling to Niagara for the first doubleheader on Saturday, FLCC trailed 1-0 heading into the fourth inning until freshman Lucas Sulimowicz (Rochester, NY/Greece Athena) singled to score classmate Grant Rodriguez (Henrietta, NY/Rush Henrietta) and sophomore Lukas Haefner (Henrietta, NY/Rush-Henrietta) drove home classmate Zach Harter (Rochester, NY/Rush Henrietta) on an RBI single into left field for a 2-1 lead.

Tied at 2, freshman Tommy Barber (Hamburg, NY/Hamburg) drove home the eventual winning run in the sixth, scoring sophomore Maxx Countryman (Fairport, NY/Avon) on a fielder's choice.

Sophomore Quin Ignazsak (Brockport, NY/Brockport) earned the win, allowing two runs (one earned) on five hits with seven strikeouts in the complete game effort.

In the second game, freshman Drew Bailey (Pittsford, NY/McQuaid Jesuit) went 2-for-3 with an RBI, but the Lakers managed only four hits in the loss.

On Sunday, the Lakers jumped out to a 3-0 lead after one thanks to a Haefner RBI single into left field, and extended the lead to 4-1 on an RBI single from Rodriguez in the bottom of the second. But the Thunderwolves tied the game in the top of the third and tacked on two runs in the fourth and one more in the fifth to win the opener.

In the nightcap, sophomore Devin Kelly (Clifton Springs, NY/Midlakes) drove in FLCC's only run on an RBI single down the right field line in the third inning, but the Lakers were held to one hit.
