Cougars Fall to Nationally-Ranked Thunderwolves

SANBORN, NY… The Genesee Community College women's basketball team dropped to the nationally-ranked Niagara County Community College Thunderwolves 65-52 on Thursday evening.  The loss puts the Cougars' record to 16-8 on the season and 4-3 in conference play.

Tylasia Weaver led the way for Genesee with 13 points and 10 rebounds to record a double-double. Chevaneese Millington came off the bench and produced 11 points and nine rebounds for the Cougars. Molly Buck, TaLia Burgess, Grace McComb, LisBeth Pineda Polanco, and Erina Ishiguro all scored for Genesee.

Genesee is back in action on Saturday afternoon as they take on the Monroe Community College Tribunes. Tip-Off from Henrietta, NY will begin at 1 pm.
