Niagara County Community College split a road doubleheader with NJCAA Division II opponent Cuyahoga Community College on Tuesday afternoon. The Thunderwolves moved to 12-4 overall with a four-game regional set against Onondaga Community College scheduled for April 2 and 4.

The visiting T-Wolves gave up two runs in the bottom of the sixth en route to the narrow setback. Sophomore Kyle LaPlante was 1-for-2 with three RBIs, while classmate Garrett Boldt ripped a two-run double and fellow sophomore Troy Banks finished with two hits, two runs scored and four stolen bases.

Freshman lefty Erik Johnson moved to 3-0 on the year after going the distance with 10 strikeouts. Offensively, sophomore Will Lawrence had a two-run double and classmate Joe Barberio was 1-for-2 with two RBIs.
