Hot shooting lifts Thunderwolves to victory

Niagara County Community College shot a blistering 56 percent from the field en route to a 98-68 Western New York Athletic Conference victory over visiting Mercyhurst North East on Wednesday night. The Thunderwolves improved to 20-5 overall and 4-1 in WNYAC play, while the Saints fell to 10-11, 1-4.

Freshman Nate Luckman scored a career-high 18 points to lead the T-Wolves. Sophomore Fode Camara finished with 13 points, nine rebounds and seven assists, classmate Dytanya Mixson had 13 points and six boards and freshman William Kondrat chipped in with 13 points.

Next up for NCCC is a key road game at Monroe Community College. Tip-off is slated for 3 p.m. Saturday.
