Niagara County Community College overcame a second-half deficit and hit some tough shots down the stretch of a 90-83 Western New York Athletic Conference road victory at Mercyhurst North East on Wednesday night. The Thunderwolves improved to 23-6 overall and 7-2 in conference play. The Saints fell to 11-14, 2-7.
Sophomore point guard Sincere Ramsahai led NCCC with a game-high 23 points. Classmate Dytanya Mixson netted 14 points and freshman Nigel Scantlebury scored 13.
The T-Wolves close out the regular season at 3 p.m. Saturday when they visit rival Erie Community College. The winner of that contest will be the top seed and earn the right to host the annual Region III Div. II Tournament on March 2 and 3.
