Bio

Robbie Black begins his first season as an assistant coach at NCCC. For the past three years, Black has been the head JV coach and lead varsity assistant for his alma mater Owego Free Academy. While at OFA, Black led the JV team to a 26-26 record, including two second-place divisional finishes. He also helped the varsity program to a 54-16 mark with back-to-back division titles, a Section IV runner-up finish and a Section IV championship.
 
After a year of teaching high school English in the Southern Tier, Black spent the summer working basketball camps at various NCAA Div. I & II colleges throughout New York and into Pennsylvania. His camp experiences include Jim Boeheim Camp, University of Pennsylvania Elite Camps, Cornell University and Daemen College. Other coaching experiences include: OA Tribe AAU and the Tioga County Boys and Girls Club.
 
Black earned his bachelor's degree in communication from LeMoyne College and a master's degree in English adolescent education from Binghamton University.
