Scroger named 2nd team All-Region

Niagara County Community College freshman Alisha Scroger was recently honored as an All-Region III second-team selection after setting new single-season school records for hits (58) and runs scored (51). It is the third consecutive season the Thunderwolves have had a player appear on one of the All-Region teams.

Scroger also led NCCC in batting average (.443), on-base percentage (.503), slugging percentage (.672), doubles (18) and stolen bases (27). The slick-fielding shortstop finished the year with 21 RBIs from the leadoff spot in the order.
