NCCC picks up two more road wins

Niagara County Community College remained unbeaten after a pair of non-conference road victories this past weekend. The Thunderwolves, ranked No. 18 in the latest NJCAA Div. II poll, are now 19-0 on the season as they prepare to host reigning National Champion Monroe Community College at 5:30 p.m. Jan. 23.

Niagara CCC 86, Herkimer CCC 55

Sophomore Kenetria Redfern had 23 points, six rebounds and five steals as the T-Wolves out-scored the host Generals in each quarter. Freshman Aubrey Halloran finished with 18 points, seven boards and four steals, sophomore Shilah Parker added 15 points, five rebounds, four assists, four steals and two blocks and classmate Cori Dickson netted 13 points to go with nine assists and three steals.

Niagara CCC 79, Fulton-Montgomery CC 57

Redfern again led the way, finishing with 21 points and seven boards as NCCC built up a commanding 49-21 lead at halftime. Freshman Paige Emborsky had 16 points and five assists, while Parker chipped in with 15 points, six assists, five rebounds and four steals.
