Niagara County Community College limited visiting Jamestown Community College to just 14 made field goals on 22% shooting en route to a 76-43 Western New York Athletic Conference victory on Saturday afternoon. The No. 18 Thunderwolves improved to 21-0 overall and 2-0 in WNYAC play, while JCC dropped to 15-3, 1-1.
Sophomore Kenetria Redfern had 26 points, 13 rebounds, five assists and four steals to lead the T-Wolves. Freshman Paige Emborsky added 16 points, four boards and three steals, while sophomore Shilah Parker finished with 10 points and five rebounds and classmate Cori Dickson notched nine points, nine assists and six steals.
Next up for NCCC is a key road tilt at Genesee Community College. Tip is set for 5:30 p.m. Wednesday.
