Niagara County Community College finished 1-2 at this past weekend's Region III pod action hosted by Cayuga Community College. The Thunderwolves, who are now 4-15 on the season, host Genesee Community College at 7 p.m. Tuesday in their final home match of the season. NCCC head coach Lindsay Matikosh encourages all fans to wear pink, consider making a donation toward the cause and take part in contests and giveaways throughout the night.

Sophomore Maddy Finn had a team-high 19 digs in the four-set loss. Freshman Jessica Cruz-Jackson finished with five kills and six digs and classmate McKenna Collignon added 11 assists and five digs.
Jefferson CC 25-25-25, Niagara CCC 16-11-5
Sophomore Sha'Vonne Rzepa and Cruz-Jackson split six kills in the straight-set defeat.

Cruz-Jackson put down 10 kills in the clean sweep. Rzepa added seven kills, Collignopn had 24 assists and sophomore Caitlyn Vishion chipped in five service aces and four kills.
