T-Wolves lose in straight sets to ECC

Niagara County Community College opened the home portion of its schedule with a tough 3-0 loss to Region III rival Erie Community College on Tuesday night. The scores were 25-11, 25-23 and 25-10 in favor of the Kats. With the loss, NCCC drops to 1-4 overall and 0-2 in Western New York Athletic Conference matches.

Sophomore Maddy Finn continued her strong play for the Thunderwolves, notching a team-high 20 digs and two service aces. Freshman Jessica Cruz-Jackson finished with a career-best seven kills and nine digs and classmate McKenna Collignon added 13 assists and six digs. 

Next up for the T-Wolves is a trio of home regional pod matches beginning at 9 a.m. Saturday. Opponents coming to town include SUNY Adirondack, North Country Community College and Hudson Valley Community College.
