NCCC clips Fredonia State in OT

Niagara County Community College's Gavin Cerrillo netted a hat trick, including the game winner early in overtime, to lift the Thunderwolves to a 6-5 UNYCHL victory over host Fredonia State University this past weekend. NCCC improved to 5-2 on the season.

Cerrillo's earlier two tallies gave NCCC a 5-3 lead in the third period before the Blue Devils tied things up in the final minutes. Also scoring for N-Trip were Chase Schmidl, Will Casullo and Caleb Lee. 

The T-Wolves return to the ice at 8:45 p.m. Friday for a matchup with SUNY Brockport at the Hyde Park Ice Pavilion.
