Thunderwolves puck falls at Niagara U

Niagara County Community College fell behind 7-0 after the first 20 minutes and couldn't recover as it dropped an 11-3 UNYCHL decision to host Niagara University on Friday night at Dwyer Arena. 

Ten different players scored for the Purple Eagles, who were led by Case Cook's two goals. 

NCCC goals were scored by: Chuckie Schmidl, Matt Stewart and Blake Dewey.

Phil Cerrillo and Evan Kopp shared the net in the setback.

The Thunderwolves have a quick turnaround with a home date vs. Alfred State set for 8 p.m. Saturday at Hyde Park Ice Pavilion.
