Thunderwolves top Fisher, improve to 6-1

Niagara County Community College continued its winning ways with a 5-2 UNYCHL victory over visiting St. John Fisher University on Saturday evening at Hyde Park Ice Pavilion. The Thunderwolves improved to 6-1-0 on the young season.

NCCC goaltender Trevor Goodyear had another strong game between the pipes, stopping 27 shots. The sophomore also recorded an assist on freshman Josh Kaczor's goal.

Joining Kaczor on the score sheet was the freshman quartet of: Teddy Swiech, Joey Geyer, Aaron Comeau and Andrew Vaeth. Geyer and Comeau were also credited with assists in the win.

The T-Wolves return to the ice for a home-and-home series vs. University of Rochester on Nov. 10 and 11.
