NCCC sweeps regular-season events

Niagara County Community College wrapped up the Region III regular season with its 10th consecutive victory at Sunday's Herkimer College Invitational hosted by Mohawk Valley Country Club. The Thunderwolves finished with 322 total strokes, which was four better than second-place Jefferson Community College. 

NCCC freshman Sean Barrett took fourth overall with a six-over-par 78. Barrett finished the regular season with a 76.8 scoring average, which broke the school record previously held by 2018 NCCC alum Cameron Eddy. Also for N-Trip, freshman Leo Camilloni fired a 79, classmate Zac Golibersuch shot an 81 and freshman Matt Whelan chipped in with an 84.

On the women's side, freshman McCarthy Lang brought home medalist honors for the seventh time this spring after carding a 90. Her sister, sophomore Kennedy Lang, shot a 95.
