NCCC continues to roll at Jayhawk Invite

Niagara County Community College won its sixth consecutive tournament to open the 2022 spring season at the annual Jamestown Community College Jayhawk Invitational this past Friday. The Thunderwolves accumulated 320 total strokes at the Par-72 Chautauqua Golf Club. Jefferson CC was runner-up with 338.

NCCC freshman Matt Whelan had his best finish of the season, taking second with a 79. Classmate Leo Camilloni was third with a 79, freshman Zach Murray shot 80, fellow frosh Zac Golibersuch carded an 82 and first-year player Sean Barrett had an 83.

On the women's side, freshman Kennedy Lang was runner-up with a 103. Her sister, McCarthy Lang, took third with a 111.
