Despite cool temperatures, Niagara County Community College continued its hot start to the Region III golf season with another impressive victory on Saturday at the Onondaga Community College Lazers Invitational hosted by Sunset Ridge Golf Club. The Thunderwolves had 320 team strokes at the Par-72 track, which was 13 better than runner-up Onondaga CC (333).

NCCC freshman Leo Camilloni notched a six-over-par 78 to take medalist honors. Camilloni, who shot 39 on both sides, won a match of cards over classmate Zac Golibersuch for the crown. Also for N-Trip, freshman Sean Barrett was seventh with an 80 and sophomore Cameron Cswaykus was 11th with an 84.

On the women's side, T-Wolves freshman McCarthy Lang was medalist for the second consecutive day, carding a 96. Her teammate and sister, Kennedy Lang, was third with a 98.
