Lang earns medalist honors at Panther Invite

Niagara County Community College sophomore McCarthy Lang kicked off the spring season with a 12-stroke victory in the women's division of the Tompkins-Cortland Community College Panther Invitational at Elm Tree Golf Club this past Saturday. Lang took medalist honors as she carded a 92 at the Par-71 course. 

The Thunderwolves finished in third place in the team standings with 322 total strokes. Onondaga Community College was first with 319, followed by Jamestown Community College at 321. 

Sophomore Sean Barrett was NCCC's low score with a four-over par 75. He took fourth - four shots back of medalist Anthony Gullo (Jamestown CC). Also for N-Trip, sophomore Zac Golibersuch had a 77 and classmate Leo Camilloni shot an 80.

The T-Wolves return to the links on Saturday morning for the annual Onondaga Community College Lazers Invitational.
