Niagara County Community College used its suffocating defense to force 25 turnovers and pick up a 77-55 non-conference road win at No. 9 Lakeland Community College on Wednesday night.
The No. 7 Thunderwolves improved to 7-0 overall, while the Lakers slipped to 5-2.
NCCC sophomore Lamar Lovelace led the squad in scoring with 16 points, while classmate Aaron Miller had a double-double with 14 points and 11 boards.
Also for N-Trip, sophomore Taylor Sanders netted 12 points and Oumaru Hydara had 11 points off the bench.
The T-Wolves held their opponent to a season-low point total. Jaiden Lipscomb had 25 points for LCC.
NCCC returns to action at Noon Sunday when it welcomes former conference rival Genesee Community College to the Sanborn campus.
