Lovelace named 1st team All-American

Niagara County Community College sophomore shooting guard Lamar Lovelace was recently named to the NJCAA Division II All-American first team. Lovelace is the ninth player in program history to earn the honor. It is also the third consecutive season that NCCC has had a men's basketball player named an All-American.

Lovelace averaged 14.8 points, 3.5 rebounds and 2.0 assists per game for the Thunderwolves, who finished 30-3 and won their third consecutive Region III championship. Lovelace also became the program's all-time leading scorer late in the season, finishing with 1,131 points.
