Host Wolves win twice at Holiday Classic

Niagara County Community College picked up a pair of hard-fought NJCAA Div. II wins at this past weekend's annual Thunderwolves Holiday Classic. NCCC improved to 9-5 overall. It resumes play at 7 p.m. Friday at SUNY Ulster.

Niagara CCC 76, Westchester CC 66

The host T-Wolves forced 30 turnovers and out-scored the Vikings 41-24 after intermission. NCCC freshman Cam Dyer had a game-high 17 points and six rebounds, sophomore Finn Mohl finished with 16 points and seven boards and freshman Jamyier Patton added 11 points and four steals.

Niagara CCC 78, CCBC Catonsville 72 (OT)

N-Trip had five players in double figures and connected on 24-of-30 free-throw attempts. Patton netted a team-high 15 points, while freshman Jalen Duff had 13 points, five steals and four assists. Also for NCCC, sophomore Julian Cunningham scored 11, freshman Navary Sandy contributed 10 points and nine boards and Dyer chipped in with 10.
