The Niagara County Community College backcourt duo of freshman Jamyier Patton and sophomore Julian Cunningham combined for 55 points as the Thunderwolves knocked off visiting Jamestown Community College, 87-71, in Western New York Athletic Conference action on Saturday afternoon. The Thunderwolves improved to 15-7 overall and 1-0 in WNYAC play.
Patton scored a game-high 33 points, while Cunningham finished with 22 points, five rebounds, three assists and three steals.
Freshman Cam Dyer stuffed the stat sheet with 13 points, six boards, four steals and three blocks for the T-Wolves, who out-scored the Jayhawks 45-32 after halftime.
NCCC is next in action at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday when it visits rival Erie Community College.
