T-Wolves split a pair at JCC Tourney

Niagara County Community College split a pair of games at this past weekend's Post-Journal Classic hosted by Jamestown Community College. The Thunderwolves are now 7-5 overall heading in to this weekend's annual Thunderwolves Holiday Classic.

Niagara CCC 109, Butler CCC 76

NCCC sophomore Julian Cunningham had 20 points and four assists in the blowout win. Freshman Jamyier Patton finished with 19 points, four rebounds and three assists for NCCC, which shot a blistering 57 percent and connected on 13 3-pointers. Sophomores Trevon Gifford and Finn Mohl along with freshman Jaeden Bynoe each netted 10 in the win.

No. 8 Macomb CC 97, Niagara CCC 83

N-Trip freshman Jalen Duff had a game-high 26 points, but it wasn't enough against the nationally-ranked Monarchs. Macomb, meanwhile, benefitted from 49 free-throw attempts and a 49-30 edge on the glass. Cunningham finished with 16 points, six boards and five assists and Patton chipped in with 17 points in the loss.
