NCCC clipped by Tribunes

Visiting Niagara County Community College competed hard for 40 minutes, but came out on the wrong end of a 79-76 decision to Western New York Athletic Conference rival Monroe Community College on Friday night. The Thunderwolves dropped to 15-9 overall and 1-2 in the WNYAC, while the No. 12 Tribunes are now 20-3, 3-0.

NCCC freshman Cam Dyer, a Rochester native, led the charge with 19 points, six rebounds, five blocks and four steals. Classmate Jalen Duff had 12 points and five rebounds, while fellow frosh Jamyier Patton added 12 points and three assists.

The same two teams will meet at 3 p.m. Sat. Feb. 10. That contest will be played at NCCC's Sanborn campus.
