Niagara County Community College won a trio of non-conference road games this past weekend to wrap up the first semester on a five-game win streak. The Thunderwolves are now 12-5 overall heading in to winter break.
Niagara CCC 82, SUNY Ulster 56
NCCC freshman Jaeden Bynoe had a career-best 14 points as the T-Wolves won each half by identical 41-28 scores. Also for N-Trip, sophomore Julian Cunningham netted 11 points and freshman Navary Sandy added 10 points, five rebounds and a thunderous slam dunk.
Niagara CCC 87, Raritan Valley CC 79
NCCC led 51-29 at intermission, but needed a late surge in the final five minutes to hang on. Sophomore Jamyier Patton notched 26 points, eight rebounds and five assists off the bench in the victory. Also for NCCC, freshman Cam Dyer and Cunningham scored 13 apiece and sophomore Finn Mohl and freshman Jalen Duff netted 11 each.
Niagara CCC 92, Mercer CCC 83
Patton was again the leading scorer, netting 21 points as the T-Wolves scored 58 after halftime to secure the come-from-behind win. Dyer and Cunningham scored 14 points each, while Bynoe added 13 and Duff recorded 11 points and six rebounds.
